I oppose your July proposal to demolish this historic 19th Century farmstead for a 13 unit subdivision. Both the house and the barn are contributing to The Oley Township Historic District listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Destruction of historic buildings affects us! Our Register of Historic Places status is at risk, and the loss affects our quality of life. New members of our business community will be welcomed if they please cooperate with our town.

We expect that your plans will preserve and enhance our unique town. Please preserve the house and Barn at Cricket Slope.
